On October 1st, the ICC published the Uniform Rules for Digital Trade Transactions (URDTT) which is focused on creating an overall framework for Digital Trade Transactions. These rules are new to the Global Trade Industry and provide additional legal certainty, standardisation and consistency for buyers and sellers when settling commercial contracts with Digital Trade Transactions.
As main collaborator and partner of the ICC, Marco Polo Network will adopt the URDTT terminology and scope for Digital Trade Transactions with the upcoming version 3.0 of the Marco Polo Network Rulebook.
